Marketing Lab

This is for you if…

  • You market in (or want to break into) Korea, but local playbooks feel like a black box.
  • Your Korean is fine for daily life, not for boardroom brand decisions.
  • You want frameworks you can use at work the very next week.
  • You learn by doing, with feedback — not by lectures alone.

What you build, step by step

01 · Read the Korean market

How Korean consumers, competitors and brands really move — and where global instincts quietly mislead you. We read real category cases together, from search and reviews to the channels Koreans actually trust. You leave knowing how to size up any Korean market before you spend a single won.

02 · STP & positioning

Choose where to play and who to win — segmentation, targeting and positioning tuned for Korea, not copy-pasted from a global deck. We pressure-test your pick against local competitors and price expectations. By the end you have a sharp positioning statement you can defend.

03 · Brand strategy & message

Turn that position into a brand identity and message Koreans actually respond to — tone, naming cues, and the proof points that build trust here. You draft your own brand message and get live feedback from the room. Work-Korean phrasing for decks and taglines is built right in.

04 · Campaign & pitch

Package it into a launch or campaign concept and present it to the group. You get critique from peers and a Korean-market pro — the kind you would normally pay a consultancy for. Walk out with a concept, and the confidence to pitch it at work.

You leave with

  • A brand strategy you can actually use at work
  • Korea-specific frameworks & templates
  • Work-Korean cheat sheets for marketing
  • Peers and mentors in the Korean scene

Questions

Do I need Korean to join?

No prior Korean needed. Sessions run mostly in English, with Korean used often alongside as support — so you are comfortable whether English or Korean is your stronger language. The work-Korean you will actually use, like terms, emails and deck phrases, is taught along the way, so it never becomes a barrier to joining in.

I'm new to marketing — is that okay?

Yes — motivation matters more than a marketing résumé here. We start from Korea-market fundamentals and build up step by step, so you are never lost. Plenty of past participants came from non-marketing roles and still left with a strategy they could use at work.

What if I miss a session?

Life happens, and missing one session is fine. Every session is recorded and shared, so you can catch up before the next one. You also keep full community access, and you are welcome to ask the group or instructor about anything you missed.

Refunds?

You can get a full refund up to 2 weeks (14 days) before the first session, no questions asked. After that, because seats are limited and materials are prepared per person, refunds are not available. These are test-cohort terms, and we always make them clear before you pay.
